Intended audience:
This course is designed for families and individuals who want to learn practical first aid skills together in a friendly and supportive environment. It is ideal for parents, grandparents, teenagers and young people who wish to feel confident helping in an emergency, whether at home, on the road or in the community.
Entry requirements:
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Participants should be comfortable taking part in light practical activity, including practising some skills at floor level. The course is suitable for families with children aged ten and above, although younger participants may attend under supervision.
Other course requirements:
Due to the practical nature of this course, Learners should wear appropriate clothing and footwear, e.g. trousers and flat foot wear. whether at home, on the road or in the community.
