.Turning Point Trust is a registered non-profit organization operating since 2016. We are solely dedicated to the development and empowerment of women and rural youth by providing vocational training and placement. Turning Point Welfare Trust began its social activities in Salem, growing and spreading across the state. Since 2016, Turning Point Welfare Trust has been involved in various social activities:

  1. Distribution of PPE, such as face masks, for workers in and around Salem Corporation. These masks were sewn by students who are being trained at Turning Point under the Awarness program.
    2. Helping daily wage workers in and around Salem by providing food, water, and ration.
    3. Our students, trained under , have volunteered for Corona screening and prevention activities.

Effective Screening by

  1. Temperature checking
    2. Checking for presence of COVID-19 symptoms
    3. Vulnerability assessment
    4. Checking blood pressure (BP)
    5. Checking blood sugar levels
    6. Checking height and weight

Health Awareness

  1. Demonstrating hand washing techniques and raising awareness about the disease
    2. Emphasizing the need for and importance of social distancing
    3. Promoting cough and sneeze hygiene
    4. Highlighting the importance of face masks and lifestyle changes
    5. Conducting rallies, skits, and street dramas
    6. Placing posters and providing group education
    7. Raising disease awareness through various means

* Follow up of vulnerable cases such as elderly individuals, those with systemic diseases, children, and pregnant mothers.
* Providing ‘Kabasura kudineer’ to community members.

* We are doing our best to help the government overcome this pandemic and will continue our efforts until we achieve a ‘Corona Free Nation’.
