Our story

Making the Right to Life a reality.

Turning Point Foundation is a registered non-profit established in 2016 to provide accessible training, education, and livelihood opportunities centred on life-saving skills.

Our work includes First Aid, CPR, Lifesaving, Lifeguarding, Road Safety, Water Safety, and Drowning Prevention. We focus especially on people and communities that lack access to professional emergency-preparedness training.

Our core initiative, Golden Hour Care & Emergency Response Management, strengthens action during the critical first hour after an accident or medical emergency—when a trained bystander can make the greatest difference.

Through practical sessions, online learning, outreach partnerships, and trainer development, we help turn the right to life into a shared community responsibility.

Our values

The principles behind every programme.

These values shape how we teach, collaborate, and remain accountable to the people we serve.

01

Commitment

We listen carefully and commit ourselves to meeting the needs and expectations of every participant.

02

Knowledge sharing

We make practical life-saving knowledge understandable, useful, and accessible.

03

Quality

We pursue reliable training standards and outcomes that create genuine confidence.

04

Accountability

We uphold sincerity, responsibility, and strong ethical standards in everything we deliver.

05

Passion

We continually strengthen our tools and methods to give every learner the best possible experience.

Our objectives

From knowledge to confident action.

  1. Organise training in resuscitation, trauma, emergency care, and disaster response.
  2. Build public and government awareness of effective emergency-care practices.
  3. Help healthcare organisations standardise and update emergency-response methods.
  4. Encourage research relevant to resuscitation and emergency medicine.
  5. Conduct workshops, scientific meetings, and critical reviews of CPR and trauma care.
  6. Design practical programmes for everyone—from the public to qualified professionals.

First-aid guidance

Small actions can make a life-saving difference.

First aid is the immediate help given to someone who is injured or suddenly ill until professional care arrives. Acting quickly, safely, and within your training can reduce suffering and improve the chance of recovery.

Our education follows evidence-informed first-aid, resuscitation, and emergency-response practice. We adapt guidance to local needs while keeping the fundamentals clear: check scene safety, call for help, assess the person, provide appropriate care, and continue to communicate with responders.

Good Samaritan

Be the person who
steps forward.

A Good Samaritan offers reasonable assistance in good faith, without expecting payment or reward. Learning first aid helps ordinary people respond calmly while professional help is on the way.

“To preserve human life by making high-quality resuscitation training available to all.”
